Top ten egg cups!

The humble egg cup has never claimed to be an interiors statement but even we were surprised when we started looking for a selection for ten of the best. Along with modular homes this has been one of the hardest galleries to create and when it comes to eggcups we could have literally put five hundred in the gallery. Quite sadly, we also picked up a few snippet's of egg cup based trivia along the way, for instance;
Collecting egg cups is known as Pocillovy.
The first known egg cups were found in Minoan Crete from 18thc BC.
The first ever cocktail was served by New Orleans barman Glen Skidmore. It contained absinthe and brandy and was served in an egg cup.
