Finding the perfect rug for a room is usually one of the last things you do. It’s also one of the trickiest to get just right. With this in mind we have chosen a selection to help you along the way. From the weird to the wonderful here are Largom’s top ten rugs.Click Launch gallery to see the selection

Roll up from bomb design is a sitting-playing-lounging object that can be a rug, a mat, a headrest, a stool, or for that matter anything you like. This hand-knotted structure does not reveal how it was made, but there is a secret logic behind the seemingly unstructured spaghetti fabric. It´s very structure allows it to take on different sizes and measurements. Made from weatherproof Polypropylene rope it is as good for inside use as it is for the garden and outdoor spaces.

Franziska Henning & Thorsten Reuber have a passion for beautiful rugs, a deep fascination with traditional craftsmanship and an inexhaustible supply of inspiration that prompt them to create rugs. Their pieces are unique: They do not produce them on a large scale, but as individual items, every design telling a different tale.

In 1997, Bennett bought an antique Tibetan rug. He lived with it and after a few months thought, “I could make a better one.” That single idea was the catalyst for Bennett Bean Studio Rugs. He describes this experience by saying, “Making these rugs has been a little like falling in love; it starts with a chance event and then begins to take over your life. Each year you learn more and relationship becomes richer.” As implied by this quote, the rugs began as only one of a number of projects in studio.

The ‘Bennett Bean Studio’ came into it’s own in 2003 with the recognition of the “Red Zed” rug in the Metropolitan Home’s Design 100. Since that time the design and production of unique, artist-based rugs has become a main focus of Bennett’s. This focus sharpened in late 2004 when Elizabeth Rand became a part of the studio.
