“My work is based on seeing interiors, sometimes my own, and translating elements of the interior into wallpaper which can then be re-introduced back into the room” says Tracy Kendall who’s bespoke wallpaper designs are as exciting today as when they first appeared in Elle Decoration in 1996.
Produced in her studio, the sometimes embroidered, sequined, flocked or digital designs are eye catching as well as a guaranteed talking point in any room.
Tracy’s work covers both the commercial and domestic sectors with her favourite design being ‘In the White Room’ which comes out from the wall in a mosaic of wallpaper pieces attached by the finest stitched lines - adding texture, shadow and depth.
